The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) seeks candidates for the full-time position of Senior Science Advisor for the National Geospatial Program (NGP). This is a Senior Level position with a salary range of $120,749 - $167, 000 per annum. This announcement closes on August 15, 2014.
The Senior Science Advisor for the National Geospatial Program provides management oversight and direction to the National Geospatial Program (NGP), including The National Map, the National Geospatial Technical Operations Center, the 3-D Elevation Program, the National Hydrography Dataset, the US Topo map series, geospatial data and information in response to natural disasters and emergencies, and Congressional mandates. The Senior Science Advisor is responsible for the overall planning, management, and strategic direction of the USGS national geospatial portfolio.
