JACIE Poster Session Information Below

Speakers and attendees are invited to submit posters highlighting commercial remote sensing data characterization, science, or applications research. Posters will be displayed during all three days of the workshop. There will also be a reception held Wednesday evening in the poster display area to allow attendees to view and discuss the various posters. Posters will be displayed on 4' x 8' fabric covered standing boards. Pins will be provided, as needed.

About JACIE

What is Joint Agency Commercial Imagery Evaluation (JACIE) team?

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), and the United States Geological Survey (USGS), and their associates and partners, are directly responsible for establishing and leading a unique interagency team of scientists and engineers who work together to evaluate and enhance the quality remote sensing data for commercial and government use. This team is called “the Joint Agency Commercial Imagery Evaluation (JACIE) team”. This team works together to define, prioritize, assign, and assess civil and commercial image quality and jointly sponsors an annual JACIE Civil Commercial Imagery Evaluation workshop with participation support from the remote sensing calibration and validation science community.
