Important Proceedings Papers Dates and Information

Papers to be included in the ASPRS 2003 Annual Conference Proceedings
are due by February 5, 2003

Important information for those submitting papers for publication in the conference proceedings

The links below point to three documents that will be emailed out to accepted conference presenters. The first is a cover memo from Kim Tilley, ASPRS Director of Communications. The second is the instructions to authors, and the third contains the Copyright Assignment and Statement of Release forms which all authors must sign. All documents are in Adobe Acrobat format.

At a later date (early January, 2003), all speakers will be provided with a conference registration form by email.

Categories and Topic Areas
The ASPRS 2003 Annual Conference “Technology: Converging at the Top of the World” will be held May 5-9 at the William A. Egan Civic and Convention Center in Anchorage, Alaska. The program will focus on research/utilization of cutting edge technologies in the remote sensing, photogrammetric, and GIS fields as well as technologies which may provide information or assistance to the surveying and mapping community as well as discussion and updates on the more traditional technologies. Papers have been received covering the following categories:


Remote Sensing
GIS
Natural Resources
Image Processing
Photogrammetry
Surveying & Mapping
General Interest

Poster/Video Presentations
Short poster and video presentations will be featured throughout the conference. Papers for these presentations are also accepted for publication in the conference proceedings and should be prepared according to the author instructions highlighted above. These also require the submission of signed copyright forms. Poster/Video presenters are required to pay the speaker registration fee by the February 5 deadline in order to have their materials published in the conference proceedings.
