Attention all ASPRS Southwest Region Students
To all SW Region ASPRS Student Chapter officers and advisors:
SPREAD THE WORD!!! We have MONEY for students!
There are two REGION ONLY awards available to your student ASPRS members:
(1) Student Academic Achievement Award, offering awards for undergraduate and graduate students who demonstrate excellence in the fields of Image-based academics and GIS-based academics. A total of 4 awards will be given at the annual conference in Portland: 2 Undergraduate (one in Image-based study, one in GIS-based study) and 2 Graduate (one in Image-based study, one in GIS-based study). Deadline: February1, 2008.
(2) Student Travel Award to the ASPRS Annual Conference in Portland, Oregon. Awards may be up to $500.00, depending on funds available and the number/quality of applicants received at that time. Deadline: March 3, 2008.
