Visit Reno TahoeReno sits at the base of the majestic Sierra Nevada mountain range. This Silver State jewel boasts everything from arts and adventure to gaming and golf!

Known affectionately in its arched entryway as the “Biggest Little City in the World,” Reno is truly an Adventure Place with so much to offer from fine dining, museums and performing arts to golf, fishing and river rafting to its world wide reputation for gaming.

The Reno/Tahoe International airport has over 160 arrivals/departures daily with many non-stop destinations and service by 11 major carriers. Complimentary airport shuttle service is provided to ASPRS Conference attendees by the Reno Hilton Hotel, the ASPRS 2006 AnnualConference Headquarters.

For an experience you will not soon forget, the Social Event Committee for the 2006 Annual ASPRS Conference has selected the National Automobile Museum. This unique museum lets you travel through time like few other places can. You’ll walk down streets of the past and discover a century of automobiles: more than 220 antique, vintage, classic, special interest and one of a kind wonders including cars of the stars. You can chat with mechanics in the Automotive Shop and reminisce with fellow ASPRS attendees about “your first car” while enjoying refreshments and beverages together.

Reno offers dining experiences for everyone. With restaurants too numerous to list, from Asian to Southwest and everything in between, all of the ASRPS Conference attendees are sure to enjoy truly fine meals.

The Nevada Museum of Art (NMA), inspired by the Black Rock Desert and designed by internationally renowned architect Will Bruder, the new Nevada Museum of Art is a four-level 60,000 square-foot landmark building that promises to be one of the most distinguished architectural achievements in Nevada. The main gallery features major exhibitions of national scope and other galleries offer rotating displays of the NMA’s permanent collection.

In the heart of downtown Reno, the Truckee River Whitewater Park offers easy access for tubing, fishing, rafting, front and side surfing, cart wheeling or slalom racing. If your not interested in participating in any of these fun things, watching is almost as much fun and there’s a great spot for it in the park.

Nighttime brings another complete array of activities with the shows, casino offerings and the 50-lane bowling center at the Reno Hilton Hotel. All of the hotels and clubs throughout the city are ready to entertain you.

Lake Tahoe and historic Virginia City are within a 60 minute drive of Reno and provide endless activities for the whole family.
