How to become a Volunteer Assistant

1. Fill out the Volunteer application form found at http://www.asprs.org/sanantonio09/Volunteer_Application.pdf.

Deadline for Volunteer applications is October 19, 2009.

Being chosen as a Volunteer means that you will abide by the following criteria:

Criteria

- You are a Full-time student at an accredited college or university.
- You are a ASPRS member in good standing or are willing to become an ASPRS member.
- You agree to attend the Orientation meeting at 5:45 pm on Sunday, November 15, 2009 at the Crowne Plaza River Walk Hotel , as well as the Orientation dinner following the meeting, if you are available.
- You have agreed to give a minimum 10 hours of time as assigned over the course of the conference.
- You understand you are totally responsible for your travel, hotel, and per diem expenses to attend the conference.

Abiding by these criteria entitles you to the following benefits:

Orientation dinner – Sunday, November 15
$10 lunch stipend if you work more than 6 hours one day
A certificate of appreciation for your portfolio
Acknowledgement in PE&RS
