Purpose: In 1937, the Society began the recognition of individuals who have rendered distinguished service or who have attained distinction in the field of photogrammetry, photo interpretation, remote sensing, or related sciences by electing them to Honorary Membership. The total number of Honorary members shall not exceed 25 at any given time. Honorary Members are elected for life. Previous (deceased) Honorary Members are listed alphabetically below.
