Elevations derived from Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (IfSAR) are shown in color overlaid on radar reflectance at 3-meter resolution for Thousand Oaks, California. The data are part of 40,000 square kilometers collected by EarthData International’s GeoSAR system in 2002 and 2003 for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Coastal Services Center. The Southern California Wetlands Recovery Project (WRP) will use these data to help develop and implement a regional plan to prioritize the acquisition, restoration, and enhancement of Southern California’s coastal wetlands and riparian resources. The WRP is a partnership of public agencies taking a regional, nonregulatory approach to restoring wetland ecosystem function. The data will also be made freely available to the public over the Internet. Coastal counties from Santa Barbara to San Diego are fully covered by the data and county surveyors are helping with data quality verification. 1333 Landsat Coverage of the Earth at
High Latitudes
Robert Bindschadler
A systematic and quantitative examination of image overlap at high latitudes where satellites travel more east-west than north-south is presented.
1341 Block Bundle Adjustment of Landsat
7 ETM+ Images over Mountainous Areas
Thierry Toutin
The generation of image blocks with Landsat 7 ETM+ imagery and the evaluation of the block bundle adjustment with a reduced number of GCPs are described.
1351 Line-Based Modified Iterated Hough
Transform for Autonomous Single-Photo Resection
Ayman F. Habib, Hsiang Tseng Lin, and Michel F. Morgan
The use of free-form linear features, represented by a set of consecutive straight-line segments, in the Modified Iterated Hough Transform (MIHT) for the purpose of autonomous single-photo resection, is addressed; the proposed strategy is useful for integrating existing GIS databases with aerial imagery for change detection and updating applications.
1359 Analysis of Terrain Elevation Effects
on Ikonos Imagery Rectification Accuracy by Using Non-Rigorous Models
Wenzhong Shi and Ahmed Shaker
The effects of the dif ference in terrain heights and the number of GCPs on the rectified image accuracy and on 3D ground coordinate determination by using non-rigorous models are investigated.
1367 Comparison of Digital Elevation

Sharon Clarke and Kelly Burnett
Slopes, streams, and hydrologic units generated from 10-meter drainage-enforced digital elevation models and 30-meter digital elevation models are compared.
1377 Mapping Urban Areas by Fusing Multiple
