July 2008 PE&RS — An Important Correction
On page 815 of the July issue of PE&RS there are two symbols
missing in the Grids & Datums column. The correct line should
appear as follows:
“The Guatemala-Honduras boundary extends between the Caribbean
Sea and the tri-point and the tri-point φ = 14° 25’ 20.06” N, ? = 89° 21’ 28.46” W).”
Also in the July issue, on page 830 the captions for the
photographs of ASPRS Board Member and ASPRS Assistant
Division Directors have been switched. The middle photo
caption should read “ASPRS Board Members are sworn in– (l-r) John Boland, Barry Budzowski, Becky Morton, Doug Smith,
Stewart Walker and Charles Toth.” The bottom photo caption
should be “ASPRS Assistant Division Directors are sworn in – (l-r) Joseph Knight, Ann Hillyer, and Lewis Graham.”
