ou are invited to apply for one of the available positions on the ASPRS
Student Advisory Council (SAC)!
The Student Advisory Council will be holding an interest
meeting June 9, 2015 to help you have a better understand-
ing of our roles and activities, to help choose which position
to apply, and to ask questions of current councilors.

We are looking for candidates for the following
positions:
• Deputy Chair
• Deputy Education and Professional Development
Councilor
• Deputy Communications Councilor
• Networking Councilor**
• Deputy Networking Councilor
The Student Advisory Council is organized as
follows:

Council membership requires a two-year commitment,
including a 1-year deputy probationary period.
** The Networking Councilor opening is a special one-
year commitment for a student to work with the outgoing
Networking Councilor in a co-leadership assignment
Terms begin on July 1st of each year. In addition to assigned
responsibilities, you must be able to attend the ASPRS
Annual Conference and the majority of SAC teleconferences,
which are held once a month.

for the ASPRS Annual and Fall Specialty Conferences.

ities, as well as marketing student activities through
social media and print.
• Network and work with industry leaders and peers from
around the country
