In Step 2 of 3, draw an output area on the Map window. Make
sure that it is larger than the building, but it is not necessary
to remake the entire DTM.
Finally, in Step 3 of 3, specify an output directory and name
for the new DTM. You may uncheck the “Insert Output(s) to
Map” as this is optional.
Step 5.
Convert the LP360 .FLT output to an Esri Grid
The LP360 output is as an .FLT file. To convert this into
Esri Grid format, use the Esri Float to Raster tool found in
the Conversion Tools | To Raster toolbox, specifying the .FLT
as input and a valid Grid name (and path) as output. TIP:
Remember that grid names must start with a letter (a-z), are
limited to 13 characters, and special characters should be
avoided. NOTE: This step does NOT require Spatial Analyst.
