Contours from Lidar – We have found that many of our inter-

DEM, DTM or TIN surface. This is a 20 minute discussion of
how contours are generated using software available at the
District and how we recommend smoothing contours.

We have found that many of our external clients and consul-
tants cannot use contour data provided as Esri shapefiles.
Many small engineering firms request that we provide the
contour data in AutoCAD format.  This 10 minute presenta-
tion goes through the steps to take contours from either Esri
shapefiles or a GeoDatabase and properly attribute the data
for AutoCAD.

Saving Map Documents and Map Packages in ArcGIS 10.2.2

provide them with our Map Documents required us packaging
data. This is a 10 minute discussion of how to put together a
Map Package.
