December 16-18, 2012. International Conference on Computer Vision in Remote Sensing (CVRS2012)
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is indeed a great pleasure to invite you to the International Conference on Computer Vision in Remote Sensing (CVRS2012), to be held in Xiamen, China between the 16th and 18th December 2012.
The Conference is cosponsored by the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS), the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS), the International Cartographic Association (ICA), and International Federation of Surveyors (FIG).
CVRS2012 aims at bringing together international researchers and facilitating the dialogue on emerging topics in the fields of Computer Vision, Image Processing, Image Analysis, Pattern Recognition, Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing. The conference offers an interdisciplinary forum in the fields of image segmentation and classification, object detection and extraction, 3D surface modeling and reconstruction, and 3D scene representation and visualization. We sincerely welcome you to take part of this activity in sharing with us your expertise and passion about computer vision algorithms and remote sensing applications.
With your support and participation, the Conference will be even more successful. We are convinced that your experience in Xiamen will be rewarding not only from the scientific point of view, but also because of the attractive location. Xiamen, as one of the most beautiful coastal cities in China, faces the Taiwan Strait along the southeast coast of Fujian province. The featured “Minnan” culture of south Fujian joyously mixes heritage and lifestyle, great cultural events and festival pleasures. Your stay in Xiamen will certainly be a time of great pleasure.
I look forward to personally welcoming you at the CVRS2012 in Xiamen, December 2012.
