    ASPRS Annual Conference at Geo Week 2020

    THE APPLICATION DEADLINE HAS PASSED. ANY APPLICATIONS SUBMITTED AFTER 12/31/2019 WILL BE WAIT-LISTED UNTIL ALL THE TIMELY APPLICATIONS HAVE BEEN EVALUATED. ALL APPLICANTS WILL BE NOTIFIED BY JANUARY 10, 2020, INCLUDING THOSE WHO SUBMITTED LATE AND ARE WAIT-LISTED.

    Selection Notification: January 10, 2020

    ASPRS annually selects a number (approximately 12) qualified individuals to assist with operations at the annual conference.

    Volunteer duties include, but are not limited to:

    -Assisting with assembling of registration packets

    -Assisting with poster display setup and teardown

    -Assisting in ASPRS workshop sessions

    -Assisting in ASPRS technical sessions

    -Assisting at the ASPRS booth in the exhibit hall

    -Assisting in the staff office

    Volunteer benefits include:

    -Complementary ASPRS Full Conference registration

    -Up to 3 nights of hotel accommodation (shared room)

    -$50 VISA gift card for incidental expenses

    -ASPRS-hosted volunteer group social activity

    -ASPRS does not provide transportation or travel reimbursement other than what is specified above.

    Volunteer qualifications and requirements:

    -Must be an ASPRS member

    -Must work a minimum of 15 hours overall during the conference. Work assignments and schedule will be finalized 2 weeks prior to the conference, considering input from all selected volunteers.

    -Must be available to work between 4:00 PM Sunday, March 22 and 4:00 PM Wednesday, March 25. Two volunteers may be needed as early as noon on Sunday and until about 7 PM on Wednesday.

    -Full-time students and ASPRS Rising Stars will be given highest preference for selection, but others may also apply.

    -All applicants must submit one (1) letter of reference from a faculty member or ASPRS mentor.
