Remote sensing has been one of the issues of most concern and important method over the world. 2009 Joint Urban Remote Sensing Event (JURSE) in Shanghai gained great success and gathered affluent experience & resources. On the basis of JURSE 2009 2013 Shanghai International Symposium on Remote Sensing and Social Development (SRSSD 2013) will be held in Shanghai during December 2—5 2013. The symposium is organized jointly by Chinese Society of Space Research and Shanghai Society of Infrared and Remote Sensing and operated by Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics Chinese Academy of Sciences East China Normal University and Shanghai International Sci-Tech Exchange Center. Preserving the features of JURSE 2009 SRSSD 2013 will provide an efficient international academic exchange platform so as to strengthen the cooperation among the specialists at home and abroad search the hotspots and difficulties in the field of remote sensing and promote the remote sensing technology to offer better service for social development. Don’t miss the opportunity!
