The Westgate, Las Vegas, NV
Date: October 28, 2019
Join us in Las Vegas for the 3rd ASPRS UAS Technical Symposium at the Commerical UAV Expo on Monday October 28! Learn from experts on best practices for UAS mapping with photogrammetry and lidar. Learn about real-world UAS mapping project pitfalls and how best to overcome them, from poor distribution of ground control points to projects with thousands of images. Learn how to validate the accuracy geospatial products with the ASPRS Positional Accuracy Standards. Register today at https://www.expouav.com/asprs-uas-technical-division-workshops/

Registration at Commercial UAV Expo is required; the ASPRS UAS Symposium is an optional add-on event organized into 2 consecutive sessions (must register for Session I and Session II separately).
Session I will be an Introduction to UAS Operations and Mapping. It will address how to reliably produce accurate mapping products with UAS. In this session, you will learn from industry leaders on how to consistently and reliably produce accurate 2D and 3D data from UAS and actually make money with UAS mapping.
Session II will focus on Advanced UAS Mapping Concepts. In this session, attendees will take an in-depth look at examples where real-world operations and theory collide. You’ve all had that one project you just “couldn’t get right” and this session will teach you why. Attendees will come away with a much richer understanding of pitfalls that are commonly encountered with UAS mapping and how best to avoid them.
Attendees of the ASPRS UAS Symposium can register for Part 1 only, or for the entire day.
Cost: Part 1 Only: $175
Full Day: $250
