UAS Hands-On
Mapping Workshop
Thursday, March 16, 2017
from 1 to 6 PM.
This 5-hour workshop will
provide a classroom setting
with knowledgeable instructors
leading attendees through the
steps of map production using
drone data, including mission
planning, data acquisition,
and data processing. The
data processing segment
includes image georeferencing,
elevation modeling, orthophoto
generation, topographic and
planimetric mapping, and quality
control of the final mapping
products. Those attending
should possess entry level
fundamental understanding of
remote sensing data processing.
Instructors will be from Applanix,
Icaros, Pix4D, Simactive,
GeoCue, Navmatica,
Microdrones and GeoWing
Mapping.
