Are workshops included with registration?

Workshops are not included in the full registration fees. Workshops require individual registration and additional payment to the general conference registration fees. Availability is based on space. On-site registration will be available for confirmed workshops with additional space. Please use the On-Site Registration Form (available at the registration desk, North Convention Lobby, Second Floor, Tower Building) and present it to the registration desk with the appropriate registration fee. Please note that on-site fees are more expensive.

What does a spouse/guest registration include?

A spouse/guest registration includes exhibits, and the opening reception. If a spouse or guest would like to attend educational sessions, they are required to pay the rate of a full registration. Please use the On-Site Registration Form (available at the registration desk in the North Convention Lobby, Second Floor, Tower Building) and present it to the registration desk with the appropriate registration fee.

Conference Materials

A Conference Proceedings CD-ROM is included in the Full, Speaker, and Student registrations and has been included in the advance registration packet. The Proceedings contains the papers submitted prior to the conference. Additional copies may be purchased at the Conference Registration Desk or from the ASPRS exhibit booth for $35.00 each.

Can I visit the Exhibit Hall only?

Individuals who wish to attend the exhibits only are required to pay a $30 registration fee. Please use the On-Site Registration Form (available at the registration desk in the North Convention Lobby, Second Floor, Tower Building) and present it to the registration desk. The badge you receive will allow you access to the Exhibit Hall during show hours.

Why do I need a name badge and tickets?

Name badges are required for admission to workshops, educational sessions, Exhibit Hall and any social functions to identify conference attendees. In addition to your name badge, you may have tickets for certain functions. Tickets are necessary to identify those who have paid for the event. There is a $5.00 replacement fee for lost badges and tickets.

Is there a place to post my resume or position?

Resumes and job openings can be posted in the Exhibit Hall inside our Career Fair Booth. Prospective employers will be able to review resumes and make contacts for interviews. All prospective employers and employees should bring their materials to post on notice boards at the Career Fair.

Is there a place for speakers to prepare their presentations?

We encourage workshop instructors and presenters to preview their presentation materials. The Speaker Ready Room is located on the Second Floor of the Tower Building in the Aspen Room. This room is available from 8 am to 6 pm throughout the conference. Equipment will be available on a first come-first served basis.

Is there a place for the press?

Space has been set aside for the press in the registration area in the North Convention Lobby, Second Floor, Tower Building. Companies that would like to distribute press releases may do so here. It is necessary to contact Anna Marie Kinerney at the registration area to schedule a press conference.

Volunteers?

Conference volunteers should report to the volunteer coordinator at the registration area in the North Convention Lobby, Second Floor, Tower Building, for work assignments and lunch tickets on the days they volunteer.

Additional Information

Evaluations. Your input is important to us! We would like to know your thoughts on this year's speakers and topics for future conference planning. Please complete the evaluation form included in your registration packet and deposit it in the designated collection box at the registration desk. By completing this form you will be eligible for a chance to win a complimentary registration for the ASPRS 2003 Annual Conference in Anchorage.

Local Tours. Visit the hotel concierge's desk, Monday - Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm located in the Main Lobby of the Plaza Building.

Lost and Found. For your convenience, a lost and found box will be kept at the Registration Desk, North Convention Lobby, Second Floor, Tower Building. Conference staff will not be responsible for lost personal property.

Emergency. Locate a Conference staff person at the registration area, North Convention Lobby, Second Floor, Tower Building, or pick up any hotel house phone and ask for Security.

Messages. Written messages may be placed on the Conference message board located in the registration area, North Convention Lobby, Second Floor, Tower Building. We cannot guarantee delivery, as we do not know your individual schedules. Please be mindful of those who need to reach you during the conference and provide them with detailed information on how to contact you directly.

Cell phones and pagers. Turn off all cell phones and pagers while in a session. If you must use your cell phone during a session, leave the room.
